Building innovative solutions with C++, Java, Python, and React
Hello! I'm Yash, a Computer Science graduate student at Northeastern University with a passion for software development and problem-solving. I enjoy building robust applications that solve real-world problems using efficient algorithms and clean code.
With experience in both front-end and back-end technologies, I specialize in creating applications using C++, Java, Python, and ReactJS. My background includes work in fintech at Freecharge-AXIS Bank, where I gained valuable experience in frontend development and financial technologies.
I'm constantly learning and improving my skills, with particular interests in software engineering, machine learning, and database management systems. I'm looking for opportunities to apply my technical skills in challenging roles.

Freecharge – AXIS Bank
2023
Worked on the OPTICS project utilizing JavaScript, ReactJS, and Redux skills. Explored Bayesian inferences for creditworthiness assessment and fraud detection models. Developed client-side applications for loan proposals and transactions of NTB and ETB customers. Used ReactJS, TypeScript, Redux, and Redux toolkit during the internship. Gained experience with project planning using DevOps tools like JIRA and Jenkins to streamline the development process and minimize blockers.
HackMIT-WPU'23 – Annual Hackathon of MIT-WPU
January 2023 - April 2023
Organized and managed HackMIT-WPU'23 with a core team of 18 individuals and an extended team of 50+ volunteers, achieving participation of 3000+ members. Served as Jury Coordinator, handling communication with judges across diverse fields for team evaluation.
Innovation Hub, Innovation Council of MIT-WPU
2021 - 2024
Participated in the technical team of the Innovation Hub at MIT-WPU, contributing to innovation initiatives and technical projects within the university.
Built a CLI-based Texas Hold'em Poker game simulating real gameplay with betting rounds, hand evaluation, and multithreaded bot logic. Implemented bluffing strategies, difficulty levels, and a Monte Carlo–based win probability estimator.
Designed and developed a production-grade GUI application simulating a Visa-like card payment ecosystem. Simulated over 500+ transactions across multi-user profiles with secure logging and validation flows. Integrated JFreeChart for real-time transaction visualizations and implemented MySQL-backed transaction storage.
Created a full-featured desktop calendar manager capable of handling complex scheduling workflows. Managed 1000+ event entries across multiple calendars with support for recurring events and time zone shifting. Engineered architecture using MVC and MVVM patterns to decouple data, logic, and GUI layers for scalability.
I'm currently open to new opportunities and collaborations. Feel free to reach out!
Thank you for reaching out. I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
